Faja Time in Baltimore

Well I have been extremely lucky so far with this job. Getting to travel, having some of my family come visit me and getting to go see the rest once a month.

This last weekend my daddio came to check out Baltimore, (he feels better about my temporary home) we enjoyed an Argentine dinner

And walked around the harbor a lot.

Sunday we melted at a Baltimore Ravens game. We got to see some former Utes, interceptions and a W

Then was baseball tour of Orioles Park at Camden Yards. Such an incredible tour with lots of history.

We spent most of the day at Fort McHenry. Well well worth the visit, this is the location of where the battle was when the Star Spangeled Banner was written. Touching to be standing there and experiencing history.

This was a bunker they were prepared to use. The holes in the wall are air tunnels to breathe.

Especially with all the unrest that is currently happening. I understand we salute and respect our flag and country, but I do find it hard to believe that many years ago they fought so that decades later there would still be segragation and judgement. That is not America or the melting pot our country is meant to be.

This flag is the size of the flown at the end of the battle. The one flying when our national anthem was written. 40 feet by 32 feet

Lunch over the harbor and then it was time for baseball.

Orioles Park is such a great place!

Amazing seats and extra inning. We did not get the win. But we saw 18 runs and 5 hours of baseball!!

Can’t wait for the next adventure.
